Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ellen is very nearly the perfect dog. She loves to be loved on. She has a soft, shiny, beautiful red coat that is almost impossible to stop petting. She is sweet, gentle, calm, quiet, an excellent listener, and very loyal.  Ellen loves to cuddle up next to people or other dogs, and loves being close to you so she can get all of your affection. She gets along well with other dogs and would be an ideal candidate for an apartment since she rarely barks. Ellen is a pro at using the doggy door and has not had an accident in her foster home in a very long time.   This precious girl would love to be a member of your family.
