Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Sebastian might be the Most All Around Best Foster Dog Ever! I'm really anxious for the perfect Forever Home to find him. Sebastian is a sweet, gentle boy who has had a rough life. He's been in and out of animal shelters and suffered painful injuries that didn't receive adequate care. But in spite of all this, Sebastian remains kind, calm, loving, quiet, friendly and happy. He's a bit older but he's still spunky and alert. He loves to patrol the backyard perimeter for pesky squirrels and doves.  He enjoys a sunny day to sunbathe in the cool grass.  He loves mealtime and will follow you to the end of the Earth for a treat!  He is great with kids and cats.  He loves all humans and he's welcoming to any dog, big or small. He has the makings of a great family pet with a big backyard or a single person's apartment buddy. He crates quietly at night and lounges on the couch during the day. He's mastered doggie stairs so he can safely access the couch! He's neutered, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated.  IF you have thought about getting a pet and you want a housetrained, cratetrained, lover of a dog - then Sebastian is waiting for you to apply!
