Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Kate is a LAP dog. She loves to give kisses and be held. She hardly ever barks (twice in week). She enjoys being outside and rolling around in the grass. In the few days that we have had her she meets and greets all people all ages. It took her a couple of days to warm up to our other pet, but now they are great together. She does enjoy her alone time in her crate or pen. When she is “done” she heads straight to her quiet spot by herself to relax if she can’t find a lap to be on. She does well being crated throughout the night. She doesn’t bark, whine or try to get out and makes no fuss about going to bed. When the morning light comes on she perks up wagging her tail and ready to go outside for potty and breakfast. Kate is house trained. She has not had one accident in the house since we have had her. She walks to back door when she needs to go out. She understands some commands as well: “potty”, “come or let’s go”, “no” and occasionally “sit”. Kate would be great with any family dynamic.
