Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Koda Bear is quite active for a senior doxie. He loves to patrol my apartment and make sure nobody is at the door or the windows. He barks at strange noises until he figures out what they are. He gets along with my two doxies. He loves to sit on my lap at night and watch tv with me. He'll willingly go into his crate when you ask him. He's not food aggressive and won't touch my dogs' food while he waits for his bowl. He loves his squeaky toy very much and is a very happy little soul. He is housetrained and will tell you when he has to go outside, but if you don't see or ignore his signals (standing by the door and/or barking at the door), he will pee inside. All he wants is someone who loves him so he can loyally love them back.
