Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

After being found roaming the streets alone, a good Samaritan rescued him. Bo is definitely a lap dog and will follow you around wherever you go, hoping you'll take a seat somewhere so he can crawl up next to you. He's a good leash walker, and likes to be outside. He hasn't quite figured out the potty schedule yet, but we're working on it every day. Bo is energetic and likes to play and move around the house. In spite of his frosty faced appearance, he acts a lot younger than he looks. He lives with a foster doxie that is a little more domineering than him, and he's totally cool with that, which means he would do great in a multi dog household, especially with a resident dog who was more of an alpha. He's healthy and ready and waiting for his forever family to scoop him up. 

Update: Bo is on a great schedule for using the bathroom outside. Consistency in letting him out was all it took. He's doing great and having maybe one accident a week. It seems you can teach an old dog new tricks :) This little guy was a hit at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows. He loved meeting and greeting everyone that came by. He's a real sweetheart and would do absolutely fine in any living situation.
