Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

I am an active pup.  I love to play and I tend to get pretty frisky if I don't get my play time.  I do well with other dogs most of the time.  Sometimes I get to playing a bit too rough and there is a bit of barking and growling but nothing major so far.  My favorite thing to do is snuggle with my foster mom and dad.  I will go in my crate while they are away and even sleep in my crate at night but if I'm given the chance I can easily jump into their tall bed and hop into the covers before they can blink an eye! I love dinner time and have no problem eating my food.  I potty outside easily.  I do best when taken out on a leash!  Even though I may not be a full fledged Dachshund doesn't mean I don't have a ton of love to give.  I am super sweet, my fur is gorgeous  and I would love to have a home for the holidays!  Pick me, pick me!!!
