Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Gus Goose is very affectionate and wants to give his foster Mom kisses all the time. He will follow his foster Mom everywhere she goes and will lay at her feet while she does some work on the computer. He enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood lakes and is doing well learning to walk a leash. Gus is learning how to go potty outside and will be housebroken in no time! He is crate trained and does not mind sleeping in his crate at night, if it is in his foster Mom’s room, so he can see her! He loves to lay in your lap when you are having a Netflix binge and understands he cannot jump on or off the couch. A big no no for dachshunds!!
