Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

My name is Mikela (though my foster family calls me “Precious”). I am very sweet and timid as I am learning to trust people after a rough beginning. I am eager to please and very food motivated. My foster family is working on house-training me and giving me lots of opportunities to learn! I love to go for walks and am very good on a leash. I like my four-legged foster siblings and love cuddling with them and my foster family on the couch. At only 14 pounds, I'm the perfect snuggler. I came from a shelter and while my fur doesn't look great now, I'm healing and will soon be beautiful. I am looking for my forever home and hope you will consider making me a part of your family!
