Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Nikki is an extremely sweet, friendly and active puppy who has the most beautiful amber gray eyes.  Nikki has been enjoying playing with her 2 dachshund foster brothers, rolling around in the sunny grass and cuddling with her foster parents.  Nikki is not food or treat aggressive.  Since Nikki is young she is still learning about walking on a harness and leash but does not seem to mind them.  Nikki appears to be mostly house trained however she is not kennel trained yet.  Nikki does not like to be alone so she will follow either her foster brothers or foster parents around like a little shadow.  Nikki likes to get head and belly rubs and freely gives out kisses.
