Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Tara is a beautiful girl who has a gentle disposition and just wants to be loved.  Tara gets along very well with her 2 foster brothers and 1 foster sister.  Tara enjoys catching rays and rolling around in the grass on sunny days and loves to play with squeaky toys.  When Tara is not playing she loves to take naps next to or on her foster Mom and Dad. Tara is mostly house trained. Tara is a little food aggressive but more so that she wants to know what everyone else is eating.  Tara loves treats, especially fresh strawberries & blueberries.  Tara is leash & harness trained.  Tara is also 100% kennel trained and sleeps quietly in her kennel at night.  Tara needs a calm & relaxed environment without a lot of loud noises as it scares her.  Tara is typically a non-vocal girl however she is scared of thunder and fireworks and will whimper when she hears them.  Tara loves to have her belly rubbed and will roll over anytime someone is near to rub it for her.  Tara is looking for her forever home, could that be with you?
