Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Lucy is a brand new Mom who is getting her pups ready for the big world.  She's a super sweet girl who loves attention.  She's been an excellent Mom as she cares for her little darlings and while, like most Mom's, is careful about who she allows near her treasures, she is still friendly towards humans and other dogs.  She has been excellent about going outside to do her business, however, like most dachshunds there is a line drawn when there is wetness on the ground.  Luckily, if you are patient then you can convince her to do her deed.  Lucy is quite the explorer but she loves treats too much to venture away from her loving humans.  She is fondly called "piggy tails" because of the way she holds her ears and she seems to like it.  What a doll!!!!
