Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Lexi is a total sweetheart.  Within two minutes of meeting a new person, she has already convinced them to give her belly rubs, and might even have given them a kiss or two in return.  She is incredibly smart and learned how to use the doggie door in less than 5 minutes, and never had a single accident in the house - she is fully house trained!  Lexi is 100% focused on her humans, whether they are children or adults doesn't matter - she wants to cuddle with whomever is sitting down.  She doesn't feel the need to interact much with other dogs, and would do fine in a house with no other dogs, or dogs who are respectful of her.  She doesn't want to play much with toys, but show her a leash and she is at the door ready to go for an adventure!  Lexi would love a house with a good lap to sit in, and low-protein food to nibble on.  Could you be the perfect place to pamper this princess?
