Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi, I'm Kay!
Time for a pupdate!
I have really settled in and learned a lot about how to be the best pup ever! My foster mommy has taken me to Home Depot and PetCo to learn about strangers. Now I know that I can trust people, and I know I need to give them a sniff to get to know them. When someone comes into my house, I bark a bit to let my foster mommy know that strangers are there, then when they sit down on the couch, I go over to sniff them when I am ready and I get petted! I really love the attention, and everyone tells me what a good girl I am. It’s awesome! I have also learned that there are these soft stuffy things called toys! Have you ever heard of them? They are so amazing! I bring one to a person and they toss them across the room so I can run to get them and bring them back. Sometimes we play tug with them. And when I get really into it, I can get that squeaker out of it along with the stuffing, and then - get this - my foster mommy brings me a NEW one! How cool is that? When I get really excited, I dance in circles over and over until I get dizzy. My foster mommy says I am a silly girl, but she laughs when I do it, so I keep it up. I’m still looking for my forever home, but my foster mommy says the perfect family is waiting for me, so I am being patient. I can’t wait to meet them! Make sure to watch my video below!
