Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Lesley (aka "Tinker") is a tiny, adorable, sweet, and feisty girl with so much personality. She has a beautiful mottled coat with a lithe figure, one ear which stands up while the other flops, and a goofy smile. She is sweet, affectionate, and playful. She is a great lap dog who likes to snuggle under covers or inside your shirt. Tinker loves to wrestle, chew on bones, and give lots of little kisses. She is house trained! This girl will even go outside in the rain to potty all by herself -  unheard of in the dachshund community. Tinker can be possessive of her food and toys with other dogs; she would be great as an only dog but also gets along with her foster sisters under supervision when food and toys are around. She had a foster brother with whom she just loved to wrestle and play. Tinker will be a wonderful companion for anyone who loves itty bitty sweet dogs.
