Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Audrey entered our lives on Monday and has made us laugh ever since.  After getting over spaying and a new home she has fit right in.  She is very excited to see anyone and everyone.  She enjoys getting petted and loves to snuggle as close to you as possible.  She is very funny to watch eat.  It is almost like she is so excited to eat she can’t sit still.  She takes one piece and then walks around and comes back for another with her tail wagging the entire time.  Unfortunately, in her past life she was exposed to people food and is very interested in our food.  We are working on her respecting boundaries with food.  She sleeps in a crate at night and when we are at work.  She is doing great with her crate and sleeps well in it with no crying.  She is just beginning to figure out toys, but seems to like soft ones.  Audrey is ready to find a loving family who will pet her continuously.
