Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.
Dom is an affectionate, goofy and healthy boy with a beautiful coat and the softest ears you ever felt! He currently has four foster brothers (3 furry dachshund brothers and 1 wild 18 month old human). He spends most of his days playing with toys in his brother’s company. He loves stuffed toys, socks and blankets. Dom is happiest when in the presence of his humans and happily comes to snuggle when on the couch. He is still learning a bit not to jump up but he just gets sooo excited when his humans come home and for food. Did I mention he loves to eat?! I have nicknamed him ‘shadow’ as he is usually at my heels any time I’m getting up to go from one room to the next. Dom just loves to be with his people.
