Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hey everyone, my name is Sarah Rayburn, and I’m 10lbs of wiry chocolate love. When I meet you, I may be nervous (my foster mom says I’m a tough sell), but if you give me enough time, I will warm up to you and then you will wonder how you can breathe with my smothering kisses. I bounced around from place to place before becoming a DRoH dog, so I have some trust issues, but I have a wire foster brother who has helped me not feel so scared in my new home, and I help him by wearing him out chasing toys. I do love a good squeak toy. I love my crate and will happily go in there at bedtime. I’m still learning that I am supposed to potty outside, but my foster mom says I am improving with that. Do you have the love and patience to help me settle into a forever home and learn to trust again? If you give me a chance, you won’t be sorry.
