Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Sansa Stark is sweet, affectionate and very curious. She loves meeting new people and will become instant friends with anyone willing to rub her belly for long periods of time. She is fully house-trained and currently stays in a crate during the day. She gets extremely excited when I get home, and that's when she is at her most vocal. She would much prefer to never be left alone, but she does well in her kennel. She is food motivated and believes that she should be able to eat anything you're eating, often at the same time. She's learning her manners though! When I am home, she curls up on the sofa or the bed, sometimes on a lap and sometimes on her own blanket. She likes to roll over and sleep on her back so she often likes a little space on the sofa to make that happen. At night, she will sleep in a kennel in the bedroom, but she would much prefer to sleep in the bed. She likes to burrow and find her own corner of the bed by herself.
She is learning her commands and wants to please so badly that she's pretty good at following commands. At my dad's house, she often takes up residence on the soft rug at his feet, guarding the side of the bed and hoping he leans over and pets her. She knows just how to give you the sad, adorable eyes so that you keep petting her or, better yet, let her jump up next to you. She also often follows you around the house to make sure she isn't left out of anything good.
She is a wanderer and loves to explore and stick her nose in anything she can find, inside or outside. She will explore every nook and cranny of the yard and find any weak spot that allows her to explore outside the fence. She doesn't want to run away though and always comes right back home when called. She loves to go on walks and is doing better on her leash. She loves to explore so much that she sometimes pulls you in 10 different directions.
Sansa is a delightful, affectionate and wonderful dog who would be a perfect companion pet for anyone. She is gentle and loving and just wants to be loved. She's one of those instant connections you won't walk away from once you meet her!
