Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi everyone, my name is Venus Williams and I'm a 2 years old lovable female looking for my furever home. I'm black with the cuties white spots on my pawpaws and a white tie on my chest. I want to cuddle in your lap while you relax in your chair and I'd love to cuddle under your sheets next to you at night too. I haven't had any accidents in the house and love to race out the back door with my buddies to go potty.  I am leash trained and would love to go on walks with you. I'm learning it's ok to go in the back yard without my leash. This is new to me so I sometimes want my foster mum to be close by while I lay in the sun and kick my back paws out behind me. I have made friends with my foster cats and love following my other foster buddies around the yard. I play independently by myself, but really enjoy it when you throw a ball and I go fetch it, I am still learning to bring it back. I'm looking for someone that will love me, cuddle with me, teach me new tricks and be as happy to see me when they get home as I'll be to see them.
