Jennifer is simply adorable. She is sweet and loving and loves to be home with her foster family. Her favorite spot is on the sofa on a blanket or on pillows on the floor. She is obedient and eager to please. She's learning how to sit and already knows how to stay. She prefers to follow me around and loves to be outside if I'm outside, exploring or laying in the sun.  She likes to run around the yard chasing squirrels and the neighbor's cat.  She's very curious, and she managed to squeeze herself through some holes in the fence or under the house. She doesn't want to run away and will come back with a whistle. She doesn't dig, though, and will only exploit existing holes or gaps. 

 

She is fairly low energy at home and is happy to sleep on the sofa no matter what I'm doing, but she may still be recovering from her initial vet visit.  Sometimes she'll walk around with a rope toy in her mouth, just for fun, but she doesn't chew them. She generally follows me around to make sure I'm not leaving before she settles on the sofa, and she enjoys looking out the window at anyone passing in front of the house.  She is generally very quiet and only barks for a little while when I leave her at home alone or when she spots something to chase. She is crate-trained but is much happier outside the crate when I am gone and I have never come home to discover any accidents or problems.  She's fully potty trained and very food-motivated.  So watch your snacks because she will shamelessly sneak them off the table if you're not careful!  

 

She's very affectionate and loves to lay across my lap or near me on the sofa, although she can also be independent and lay on the far side of teh sofa. She likes to stretch out and take up a lot of room.  She would be fine sleeping on the floor in the bedroom in an open air dog bed or in the bed with a family member. She is a great sleeper and doesn't get up or move around much during the night. Best of all, she barely sheds at all! 

 

She can be goofy sometimes and loves to roll around and paw at me or try to lick me while giving me those adorable, sad puppy eyes.  She's very easygoing.  She's let me test out some dog shirts and sweaters without scratching at them or trying to take them off.  And she'll let anyone pick her up and let any dog check her out. When I bring her to family houses, she will explore and then sit near me on the floor until she feels comfortable being off on her own.  I'm looking forward to finishing her boosters because she seems like the perfect dog to walk to the coffee shop or bar and sit outside on the patio.  If someone doesn't adopt this amazing dog soon, I might just have to keep her!
