Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Sandra Dee is a darling!!  She is sweet, affectionate, loving, cuddly and loves to sit by you on the sofa or chair.  She is a wonderful companion and likes to be with you when you are home.  She can take the submissive position, but not always.  If she’s in trouble, she rolls over on her back.  She is a good eater but seemingly not an overeater.  Sandra likes treats to eat, but getting your attention is the greatest treat.  She enjoys taking a bath in the shower on occasion....and takes her turn nicely.  Sandra Dee could use some patient training when it comes to obeying commands.  I would guess she ha s  never had obedience training.  Sandra likes to sleep in your bed...if you’ll let her, but doesn’t make a big fuss if you put her in her crate to sleep.  I think Miss Sandee would be very good with kids because she has such a sweet temperament, but she is very good with seniors as well.  She’s going to make some very lucky people a wonderful addition to the family.
