Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Be careful looking at this boy, because you won't be able to stop.  He's a stunning dachshund with very soft fur.  His ears make you want to rub them and he'll let you.  He loves to snuggle, play and generally be with humans and other dogs.  He has the sweetest eyes and he knows how to use them.  If that doesn't work, he will lift one paw and pose.  He is quite the jumper and can hop straight up, but nothing is more entertaining than watching him hop like a bunny while running in the yard.  Whiskey is full of entertainment and affection, so be ready!
