Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Leia is a very sweet and shy girl. She is very adventurous, she loves searching for lizards on walks and likes to say hi to strangers. She is very quiet, we have only heard her bark when someone she does not know comes into the house or is at the door- a great guard dog! She likes strangers if they are introduced because she is protective of her home. ​ She likes to run around in the yard but likes for someone to be watching her. When she is not looking for lizards, she loves to be cuddled up on the floor on anything cozy! She likes to be in her play pin, on her bed and under a blanket or she is next to us laying on the floor - she likes to relax! She also listens very well and is a smart girl - she learned our house rules fast!
