Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi, I’m Betty Lou.  I’m told I’m nine years old but I don’t look it!   I’ve adapted so well in my foster family’s home.  They say I’m a great house guest.  I’m potty trained, I am brilliant on the leash and trot along like a show pony   I love to sunbathe - either inside or outside but my favorite spot is on all the cushions on the couch.  I have a great vantage point from there and can see all comings and going’s.  I enjoy my food but I don’t beg.  I love company but I’m not clingy.  I am interested in squirrels but am easily brought back to focus on the walk.  That’s all about me for now, as it’s nap time again!!!   I would love to come and live with you.  Happy holidays from  Betty Lou ❤️
