Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Serena is a joyful ball of unbridled enthusiasm. She is excited to see us as soon as she wakes up, and loves to snuggle in your lap and at your feet. She’s been great on walks. She gets along well with her foster brothers, even if they don’t want to play as much as she does. She has a few favorite toys that she carries around, and is always up for a game of fetch. Sometimes fetch turns into a game of keep away.
Serena has been a pretty easy dog. She was an owner surrender, and came to us clearly used to living in a house and having rules. She’s house broken, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and it took her about 10 minutes to learn to use the dog door. Serena is about a year old, so she still acts like a puppy, without extra work that a puppy takes.
She’s amazingly sweet, and very gentle. She doesn’t bark much, except at the ice cream truck. I think she just wants ice cream.
Serena is a gorgeous dog. She’s not at all self-conscious about her inflatable collar. Her pictures don’t do her justice, but that’s the photographers fault.
Serena gets along with other dogs, loves people, is gentle and well behaved. She would be a welcome addition to any family!! If you’d like to meet Serena, act quickly, before we get too attached and keep her ourselves.
