Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Don't let Ella's frosty face fool you! She is full of spunk and love, even at 7 years old. This sweet girl loves to be near you and can never get enough pets. She loves all affection and attention. Whatever room you are in, she needs to be there too and she would love to be in your lap as often as possible. She has a couple extra pounds (currently 17lbs and should be 15 lbs) around her waistline - we suspect she was previously fed from the table -  but we are working on getting her girlish figure back and working on her manners. She is very food motivated and won't let you forget about breakfast and dinner time. She gets along great with her male and female foster dog siblings as well as her 9-month-old tiny human. She blends right in and gets along well with everybody. She's never met a stranger. She thinks everybody is there to pet her. She will happily do her potty business out in the yard especially if she can go over top of someone else's. When the weather is nasty, she'll use a potty pad inside.
