Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Josie is a very gentle, 6 years old, female, black and tan, shorthair Dachshund. She is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. Josie gets along very well with the three other Dachshunds at her foster home. She is rather quiet and has been content to just calmly snuggle up and watch TV or wait patiently while her human reads a book. Josie is ready to join a welcoming adoptive family!
