Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Jude Ann is a beautiful Black and Tan dachshund with a shiny coat and classic markings. She is a quiet calm, girl and is not much of a barker.  She likes being held and hanging out with her people.  I love holding her....she has the softest fur!   We are working on potty training and have had a couple of accidents but overall, she is doing pretty well.   When all of my relatives and their children came over for Christmas, she was just fine with meeting new people.  Jude Ann also gets along with other dogs.....she has 5 foster siblings.  Jude Ann sleeps quietly in her crate at night all snuggled in her blankie.   She would be a good companion for an existing pet or fine as a “spoiled” only child!
