Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Wendy is a bright and spunky personality in an almost 5 pound body. She and her two brothers and one sister were abandoned long before they should have left their mother. DRoH came to the rescue! Wendy is approximately 10 weeks old at the time this is written (9/25). She has blonde and brown wire hair and big ears that perk up at every new sound. Her favorite spot is a human’s lap or cuddling under a blanket. She knows to do her business when taken outside on a leash, but as a young puppy she will need frequent bathroom breaks, patience and positive encouragement. She is learning to be crate trained. She has a healthy appetite and loves chewing on her toys. She is open with new people and a typical puppy with other dogs.

Because Wendy had to leave her mother so early, she would do well with an older female dog in the house to show her the ropes. Because of her tiny size and big attitude, she will also need consistency and good training in order to learn to stand on her own little feet and to follow the rules. Wendy is a delightful puppy just looking for people to call her own
