Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Java is one of a kind and extremely smart.  She is routine oriented, obedient, and very well trained.  She is also a licker (kisser). She will kiss you until you make her stop.  She enjoys baths and loves her belly rubbed (she is so soft).  Java does very well with her freedom inside and out.  She will find her favorite comfy spot on her blanket and stay there until we get home though she would prefer going on a car ride with us. Outside she immediately creates a routine of exploring and follows that routine/path every time she is out.  Once she is done with her routine/potty break she comes back and starts her inside routine until she gets settled.  Java comes directly to us when called even if it interrupts her routine.  

She loves walks and does very well on a leash.  She is cautious when it comes to lawn mowers though.  

Java does prefer a large pen in lieu of a crate if she does need to be secured.  Overall she would fit in great with any family and is very trust worthy.
