Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Cookie is an amazing dog and may be the easiest foster dog ever!  She is very well rounded, eager to please and always happy.  She is food motivated so keeping her on a consistent eating schedule with limited treats will help keep her weight regulated.  Playing is one of her favorite things to do but then she wears out easily and will settle into her crate or onto the couch for nap time.  She loves her crate and sleeps there quietly. Cookie is so soft and cuddly and loves to snuggle. Short walks on a leash are also fun for Cookie.  She doesn’t like to venture too far from home yet but does walk well on leash.  She is getting the hang of potty training slowly and she does shed but other than that this is the perfect dog!  Cookie would make a great pet for a family with or without kids. She is a very adaptable pup!
