![]() Patti is at rest. She was unable to stand on her own and very weak but we did give her a good breakfast of grilled steak. Which she did eat. Took her to the park and carried her out on the walking trails so she could see the ducks. A pupochino from Starbucks and a drive by the lake. She was ready. Thanks for the opportunity to know and love on Patti. She may not have gotten a forever home but she was loved dearly by me! I'm glad I could be with her today. Thank you for being her forever.
![]() Hunky Handsome Paul knew his forever home only briefly with a kind and loving DRoH foster family. He left behind many broken hearts, but knew he was loved as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. RIP sweet Paul. ![]() Rescued 12/24/14 Adopted 2/7/15 Rainbow Bridge 7/28/20
![]() With much sorrow, I wanted to let ya'll know that our beloved Penny Sue
Riley, aka, Penny Kringle, passed away in my arms today on the way to the
vet. We have loved that we were able to adopt her in February of 2015 from
DRoH and gave her lots love and she gave us even more back. We took the
best care of her that we possibly could.
Thank you for allowing us adopt her and give her the best second half of
her life that we possibly could share. RIP sweet Penny Sue

![]() Piper Rose, Our guardian angel, This little angel came to us when she was needed the most. She came to us as a little dog in need of help for a forever home.We do not know the exact circumstances that lead her to be a dog in need of a loving forever home nor did we know what her life was like before she came to us, however, she was in need of a loving home and LOTS of love. We fell in love with her at first sight!. She filled our hearts with joy and happiness immediately .Taking care of her needs was not an issue and we did it with love. By taking care of her we were able to slowly ease the pain of the loss of our other little Dachshund girls that left us hours apart from each other. Even though she came to us as an angel with broken wings, we helped her heal her wings while she healed the wounds in our hearts. As time passed and all of us healed, it came the time for her to say goodbye, spread her wings, and fly. Soar through the sky over the rainbow bridge with a brand new pair of wings! Free of pain and suffering where she will play happily through the fields of fresh grass with all her friends and her two sisters before her. Thank you for taking care of us and healing our hearts, our little angel sent from Heaven! Rescued 2/14/22 Adopted 7/16/22 Rainbow Bridge 1/3/24
