![]() A fond memory from a life well lived - On April 28, 2011 "this little nugget officially became a Weiman. She has been such a delight and we are so very grateful to have her in our lives. Thankful that Dachshund Rescue of Houston rescued this girl at the age of 7 and allowed us to make her part of our family. She's a girlie girl through and through." Now lovingly embraced over the Rainbow Bridge by those who have gone before. Rescued 4/15/11 Adopted 4/28/11 Rainbow Bridge 8/20/20 ![]() Our sweet Scooby passed over the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. He was part of the Scooby Doo Gang rescued back in 2010. We got him in July of 2011. He’s had pretty bad COPD the last year or so due to his earlier heartworm infestation, but managed well by meds. He was a sweet boy but it was time to end his pain. Rescued 12/15/10 Adopted 7/2/11 Rainbow Bridge 1/28/20 ![]() Reece (formerly Snickers), who I rescued with you in 2014, has passed away. ![]() On December 7, 2023, we said goodbye to the best dog ever! Our Sophie lived for 18.7 years. We adopted an adorable 2+ year old from the Dachshund Rescue Of Houston on 5-6-07 and were able to love her for 16+ years. Oh, what joy she brought to our family. She is now able to see after all the squirrels she wants to chase and hear all the other dogs barking as she runs across the Rainbow Bridge. We are heartbroken and will miss her terribly. We want to thank DROH for allowing us to adopt her all of those years ago. She truly was the BEST! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
