Dixie came into our lives on July 4, 2014. Although her DRoH name was Lucille, we changed her name to Dixie and it fit her perfectly.  She was the sweetest girl - happy, well fed and she loved her 2 fur sisters, Daisy and Dandy.  She had a great short life with us.  We miss her terribly and the joy she brought into our lives.

Rainbow Bridge 1/24/20

It is with a sad and broken heart that I let you know that my precious little baby girl Hope went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.  I adopted her almost 4 years ago, on June 30th, even though she was 14 years old, I had so hoped to have her longer.  She had been very sick for some time and while I know it was the right thing to do, it is still the hardest
thing in the world.  

I will miss her spunky little self, so independent. I loved her very much, my life is so changed without her.  I adopted Bindi at the same time, so she and I will have to go on without our precious Hope - hard for Bindi, as Hope was definitely alpha, even though so very small.

Rest in peace my sweet little Hope.  Mama loved you so much and will
remember you always.

A fond memory from a life well lived -

On April 28, 2011 "this little nugget officially became a Weiman. She has been such a delight and we are so very grateful to have her in our lives. Thankful that Dachshund Rescue of Houston rescued this girl at the age of 7 and allowed us to make her part of our family. She's a girlie girl through and through."

Now lovingly embraced over the Rainbow Bridge by those who have gone before.
