![]() The Real Story of Rescue: Angel Rufous was a tiny 6 lb. little girl who was hit by a truck. A former adopter rushed her to a vet clinic and then contacted DRoH. She was taken to a DROH vet in Jersey Village (JV) where she was assessed with multiple fractures in her leg and pelvis, which would have required a surgeon appointment. Unfortunately, over the weekend she took a turn for the worst and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. She was stabilized and returned to JV Monday morning, but within hours declined and was rushed back to the emergency vet. Sadly, Angel declined even more and crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. RIP sweet Miss.
