![]() Our sweetest, most precious, beloved Ozzie Fitzgerald Tracy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday afternoon, April 18. I know he is having fun swimming and exploring and checking out new adventures. Our hearts are crushed as we grieve his loss and will never mend. Ozzie will forever be our little red dapple doxie boy. Ozzie loved meeting everyone wherever we went and everyone loved him in return. He was so affectionate and never met a stranger. Ozzie was the biggest cuddler with chunky puppy paws and the most adorable big ears. Ozzie is loved beyond measure and missed so very deeply. The house just isn’t the same without him. As difficult as it is, we know it’s not goodbye forever…it’s until we see you again our sweetest boy. Ozzie was adopted from Dachshund Rescue of Houston on Valentine’s Day of 2009 and it has been the sweetest love story ever since. To know Ozzie truly was to love him. We’ll love you forever…to the moon and back…and we’ll miss you terribly until we all meet again our little chunk. ❤️❤️❤️ ![]() Rescued 9/12/18 Adopted 1/17/19 Rainbow Bridge 5/4/24 ![]() Succumbed to Parvo
![]() I’m writing because after 12 years (he was 2 when we adopted him) of love and memories I had to make the most difficult decision of my life…Willie crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was my shadow, he had me at hello. ❤️ I honestly thought ya’ll trained them to latch on to potential adopters as a sales tactic (kidding) because the first time I met him he climbed into my arms and never let go. I miss him very much. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to love him and cherish him until the day he died in my arms. I’ve never endured so much pain. He was with me through raising kids, divorce and moving on with my life he never left my side. RIP sweet Willie. My heart is fuller after sharing your life. ![]() We sure are going to miss our little old man Everett. He was one foster we couldn't let go of and adopted him ourselves about 2 years ago. This little Scrappy dude was told that he wouldn't be winning any beauty pageants but we disagreed. We didn't mind at all that he was blind, had a wart on his back, had torn ears, needed Prozac and special eye drops, and wasn't very dachshund. He was our precious boy that we loved very much. He loved human foster sister from the moment we brought her home. He often slept in her bedroom to be near her. He was such a great snuggler. He loved stealing toys and "hiding" them. Usually they were in plain sight. He couldn't see them so that means we couldn't see them. (Wink, wink) Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
